If that is the case, I would dig up your product ID from your Office Install and completely remove it per instructions, then reinstall Office and then upgrade to current release. Simply double-click any item to insert into the current document. So is double click in Word still NOT working while the double click in another application such as the text editor here on the forum is working ?
